It’s been a minute, but you know I cannot resist talking about the bi-annual Sephora Rouge/VIB/Beauty Insider sales. If you’re reading this, the 2019 Sephora holiday sale has just opened to VIB and BI members and is still live for Rouge members.
Sephora Rouge members (who spend $1000+ yearly) will get 20% off.
VIBs (spend $350+ yearly to qualify) get 15% off.
Beauty Insiders (no minimum purchase) get 10% off.
All tiers of membership can access these savings with the code “HOLIDAYSAVE” or simply show your App or Sephora email at the store.
MY SEPHORA SALE 2019 PRODUCT CHOICES:
For these Sephora sale recommendations, I’ve either tried them and love them or I’ve seen them in-store and they’re either in the mail or in my cart!
First things first, we all use foundation. Don’t skip the chance to save on something you probably replace very 3-4 months. Try the Nars Radiant Longwear Foundation if you want a full coverage, dewy skin finish, or the Dior Backstage Face and Body if you want something with more of a weightless feel and natural finish.
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter– this is nectar of the gods. I initially bought this for a super dewy foundation but came to realize this is absolutely magnificent when less is more. Now I apply this to the cheekbones, nose bridge and a dash on the forehead for all day wet looking highlight.
This is currently in my cart! Dior is having a moment with all of their latest releases in their Backstage line. It’s slightly more affordable than most of their makeup with lighter packaging and a versatile colour scheme.
Swatched this in store and proceeded to order it immediately. The gold is what dreams are made of, seriously. These mini palettes are the best way to get your hands on Natasha Denona shadows without spending $170..
If you don’t own this already, I’ll give you a moment to pause reading while you add this to your cart. Real talk- the new Norvina palettes are way too bright for the average “going to the office” look, and the Retrograde Huda Beauty palette is another trendy $85 palette bound to go on sale. If you want a fantastic, high quality, blendable and versatile neutral palette look no further.
EVERYDAY NUDE LIPS
Hourglass Confession Slim Refillable Lipstick looks chic as f*** in its gold-cigarette looking case. They are initially expensive but the lipsticks are refillable and so so so creamy and long lasting for a non-matte liquid lip. Let’s be real you’re going to spend the money anyway on everyday lipsticks, have at least one luxe option. See my review post about these here.
If I had to pick one nude liquid lip shade from Sephora to wear right now everyday for a year, it could easily be ‘American Woman’ from Nars. This formula is long lasting with equally glorious packaging and shades. Love.
It wouldn’t be a Sephora holiday sale recommendations list if I didn’t mention this cult product. If you want a non-stinging, gorgeous plumping gloss with tons of nudes to choose from, you need this- specifically in ‘White Russian’ or ‘Peach Daquiri’.
MAKEUP SETTING MUST HAVES
Okay, I had no idea I would like this so much when Stellar gifted it to me and now I’m in love. This is extremely finely milled and never looks heavy under my eyes like many powders do. Get the translucent one and thank me later. Did I mention it’s also on sale for HALF OFF + the discount??
I was going to stock up on my usual UD All Nighter spray but it’s $38 and frankly, there are so many up and coming more affordable options. For example, Morphe’s original Continuous Setting Spray has rave reviews and this collab with Jeffree Star smells incredible. The mist really is continuous and I can’t wait to use this on the daily!
SPA EXPERIENCE PRODUCTS THAT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE
I exclusively only buy this during the sale because its $48. However, it. is. exquisite. Honestly. If you’re a whipped body butter fan, this is a must.
I continue to be surprised that some people still exist who have yet to try this glorious facial mist, so I continue to add it to my recommendations posts. Is it probably too expensive and not a direct need? Yes. Is it a spa in a bottle and does it generate happiness and peace when I use it? Yes.
Hermes Eau de Rhubarbe Ecarlate Eau de Cologne– this range of fragrances are light and delightful- perfect for a workday post-gym. Yet because they are Hermes, the scent range is effortless chic, never generic. Other scents include ‘Eau de Pamplemousse Rose’ and ‘Eau d’orange vert’.
There we are! I could go on and on…Hope you enjoyed my Sephora holiday sale 2019 selections.
