My boyfriend is amazing. I initially saw these and fell in love but couldn’t justify $107 on brushes for myself pre-xmas. I find brush sets can often be full of odd “filler” brushes (does anyone really use those eyebrow combs…?) but I knew I would use each brush in this set. Naturally the second time I saw them I texted my boyfriend saying I NEEDED them. Lucky me, he went and bought them for Christmas!
As you can see, these brushes are a gorgeous work of art! They’re meant to be displayed, and of course I rearranged my entire makeup cupboard to give these their own spot. The brushes are super soft and thick and they’re synthetic, which is great because no animals were harmed to make them. The bristles are also infused with 24k gold. I don’t think it creates any obvious beauty enhancing effect but its cool anyway.
The set includes from left to right:
Complexion Perfector, Natural Flush Brush, Precision Corrector, All Over Shadow, Domed Crease, Soft Liner Brush
Another reason I wanted this set was because of the chic pointed shape they have. Sephora used to have a line of Pro brushes that had this same shape and came in an array of colours. I always feel like a badass when I use my metallic blue pointed blending brush from that line. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed Sephora’s newer stock of brushes is plain black with no fun colours or shapes. If you’re investing in expensive beauty tools, why can’t they look snazzy too?
This beautiful set really upgrades my makeup brushes and they are wonderful to use. Most of my brushes are from a mish mash of affordable brands so these add so much luxury to my makeup routine. $107 really isn’t a bad deal considering some Pro brushes at Sephora cost $25-$40 or more. Obsessed!
