FEBRUARY BEAUTY FAVOURITES

HAPPY FIRST WEEK OF MARCH!

I don’t know about you, but I’m so happy February is done with. The weather has been so gloomy and I’m ready for the first signs of spring to start happening. I’ve low-key been on a no-buy since Xmas, so I made myself fall in love again with things I already own (except the Kenra product because that was sent to me). I honestly really enjoy doing no-buys because it’s a chance to declutter and re-evaluate where I should/shouldn’t be spending money on beauty products. Below are my beauty favourites for February!

THE FAVOURITES

Kenra Professional Volumizing Dry Shampoo

This gave my hair so much volume and didn’t turn my roots grey, but it still worked really well at absorbing oil. Read my full review on Kenra products here.

Comptoire Sud Pacifique Vanille Abricot Eau de Toilette

I already put this in a favourites post about 6 months ago but I still love this so so much and get complimented on it all the time! It’s the most comforting vanilla scent with the most subtle touch of fruit.

L’Occitane Hand Creams in Vanilla Bouquet and Lime Zest

These hand creams were a secret santa gift and I love them so much. They smell delicious and they are so rich and luxurious without leaving a greasy residue on my skin.

Burberry Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base

I used to used Becca’s Backlight Primer but I switched to this one from Burberry because I got a sample and was never able to forget about how good it was. I got this during the November VIB Rouge sale, so that helped lessen the blow with its lofy $54CAD price tag.

Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick in ‘Sugar Mama’ and ‘Bombshell’

I’ve been wearing mostly nude liquid lipstick or nude gloss everyday for the past several months. Don’t get me wrong a love a good vamp lip or red, but I’ve just been staying in my comfort zone a lot lately! These lipsticks from Huda Beauty are a bit expensive but I find I only need to reapply once a day and I can count on them to last. Read my full review here.

Laura Mercier Candleglow Soft Luminous Foundation in ‘Dusk’

Dewy is a look I’ve been going for a lot lately and this foundation really helps me achieve that. It’s sheer-medium coverage and doesn’t ever look cakey or settle into fine lines throughout the day. I find more full coverage and matte foundations always settle into lines and can look cakey, which is not hot. I have dry skin and don’t have any issues with this clinging to or amplifying dry patches.

What are your beauty favourites this month?
