Intro
The becca smoky quartz is a new kind of gemstone. It can be found on a variety of planets: Earth, Mars, Titan, Mercury and the Moon. In this article, we will describe the history of becca smoky quartz, its mineralogical features and its uses.
How to Choose the Perfect Becca Eye Shadow Palette
This post is for those of you who are about to enter the world of eye shadow, or are just starting out. The most common question I get is “I want to choose a palette, but I don’t know which one to start with. What do you suggest?”
The answer is simple: pick one you like and stick to it. That said, I’ll also share some tips on how to choose the best palette for your skin tone (and how to get a good deal) so that you don’t make a mistake when choosing your first eye shadow palette.
I’d like to start by saying that this isn’t a hard and fast rule; there are plenty of exceptions to it (for example, if you only have eyeshadows in dark colors and can’t find any in light colors). But given that I rarely see people who have color-blindness problem have black or white eyeshadows (which are most often available in the same range), there seems no need for me to go into more detail about this topic here.
So what should we look for in an eye shadow palette? The first thing we need to keep in mind is our skin tone: if we have very fair, medium or very dark skin (or something between these extremes), we should stick with palettes that have neutral shades rather than ones that highlight a particular shade of the skin color.
For example, if our skin is very fair-skinned, then the best palettes will be palettes with neutral shades — they will cover all shades of browns and greys as well as all shades of pinkish tones — though such palettes will never appear too harsh on us (too pinkish-toned). In other words, they should be able to show up even when our complexion has some red/darker tones undertones — whereas a blush palette would probably look too pink — which makes them ideal for us.
This kind of advice is fine when our complexion happens to be at one extreme or the other and doesn’t change whether we go from warm or cool toned skins. In other cases though, such advice might not apply. For instance, if someone has been naturally olive-toned but now wants her cheeks colored because she finds them flat against her face due to oily T-zone skin and thus wants blushes with more orangey tones rather than cool ones because she likes orange
The Best Becca Eyeshadow for Brown Eyes
the becca smoky quartz eyeshadow is one of the most popular shades from the brand and it’s a great product. The problem is that it can be difficult to buy and hard to find in stores.
I spoke with Becca rep Sara Callahan, who told me that while they were surprised they had so many questions, they plan to make it easier for people to find the shades. She also said that they are working on a new packaging design, which will hopefully make finding the shades even easier.
I’m sure this will be great news for everyone who loves beautiful subtle brown eyeshadows like I do!
The Best Becca Eyeshadow for Green Eyes
In my latest post, I discussed how to double-up on your green eyeshadow. You could use two different colors in one eye and then combine them in the other eye. Or you could simply use two different colors in both eyes (which is what most people do).
Or you could make a custom look for your eyes. Becca does this with their new Becca Smoky Quartz collection, which includes three shades for each eye:
Becca Green Hair – warm, earthy tone becca green hair
Becca Green Eyes – earthy tone becca green eyes
Becca Pink Eyes – pinky-peach hue becca pink eyes
And here are some of the looks they offer:
Sparkling Glow – warm pink with white pearl sparkle (eyes)
Emoji Nails – rose pink and peach shimmer (nails)
Smokin’ Hot Pink – bright bubblegum pink with silver sparkle (nails)
Strawberry Tart — strawberry tart with gold shimmer (nails) ____________________________________________________________________________________________ What’s New? The Best Becca Eyeshadow for Blue Eyes
Becca is well known for their highly pigmented eyeshadow and the quality of that product has been highly praised for years. But I’m not a big fan of the packaging — it’s so heavy and clunky, and this is the first time I’ve seen it sent to me in a regular envelope. Plus, I don’t know about you, but I prefer things to look pretty when they come in prettier boxes.
I have been using their eyeshadow in the past, but I am going to be switching to their blush next — because blush is just more fun.
The shipping was pretty fast too, so overall this was a very pleasant experience.
Conclusion
If you’re not a smoky quartz fan, you’re probably wondering why we include this post here. Well, it’s really just a coincidence that we have the same name as one of our favorite celebrities (and I think it’s only appropriate to say we like them both). We think the two are very similar in their simplicity and elegance, and we wanted to share their words of wisdom with you.
It is no coincidence that these quotes are taken from the same person. She says they are all good things to say, but they don’t come easy:
“The way I feel about relationships is … there should be no reason for me to ever feel bad about being with someone.” ― Becca
“I’m not a person who wants to hang out with people all day long. I want to sleep at night.” ― Becca
“You will never get back what you put out into the world.” ― Becca
Here’s a love quote from our other favorite celebrity:
“I’m not a romantic. I’m not trying to make people feel special. And when someone is special to me, I try my best to do my best for them.” ― Beyonce Knowles-Carter
