Intro
Here’s a quick comparison between our two mascaras. One of them is a telescopic version of a single-purpose mascara. The other is the latest offering in a series of new, innovative and powerful mascaras with unique technologies and materials.
Here’s how they compare:
1) L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara: A single-purpose mascara with bristles on both sides for fine and precise lashes, designed for everyday use.
2) L’Oreal Lash Perfection Mascara: A new advanced formula with innovative engineering and materials allows superior liveness to lashes, as well as additional volume and length.
3) L’Oreal Lash Perfection Mascara 3D: An innovative technology that allows users to create their own customized lash extensions by creating their own bespoke bows using the patented Shape & Curl brush system.
4) L’Oreal Lash Perfection Mascara Volum’Up: An innovative technology allows users to create their own customized lash extensions using the patented Shape & Curl brush system.
5) L’Oreal Lash Perfection Mascara 3D Duo: An innovative technology that allows users to create their own customized lash extensions by creating their own bespoke bows using the patented Shape & Curl brush system.
1 L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara Review
1 L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara Review
I wanted to find out what people think about the difference between a regular mascara and the two new mascaras that L’Oreal has released in the last couple of months:
1.1 The mascaras l oreal has released lately are called “L’Oreal Telescopic”. They come in different shades, like black and brown or gold and silver. 1.2 One of them is called “Blond” and one is called “Bridal”. 1.3 The mascaras are being marketed as having a “full length” brush, which means that it covers all your lashes (in other words, it won’t be much of an exaggeration for people to call them “full lashes” instead). 1.4 This brush is supposed to give you better coverage than other mascaras, but it is not specified which kind of coverage these are meant to give you. 1.5 It is also supposed to be easier to apply than other mascaras because of this new lengthened brush shape.
It seems that there isn’t really much difference between the two mascaras, though there are some more subtle differences — both are supposed to make your eyes look bigger; both have different durations; each one claims that it can help with dark circles; neither one claims to work on fine lines around your eyes (though they both claim they can add volume) and so on…
At first I thought the differences were just marketing-speak, but after thinking about them a bit more I realized that I was wrong:
1.6 The packaging for both mascaras explicitly says that they have been specially designed for people with long eyelashes or darkened eyelashes — what does this have anything do with making your eyes look bigger? Is this part of their business plan? Or does this mean that they only have a limited clientele who have long eyelashes? 2.0 If the product advertised doesn’t help you with anything at all then why would marketers spend so much time advertising their product if all it does is lie about its capabilities, even if it was true 10 years ago? 2.1 It also makes no sense why they would want us to believe that their product is better than everyone else’s when we already know which products do better at what task — but instead of acknowledging this fact they try to convince us that
L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara Ingredients
L’Oreal claims that their Telescopic Mascara with their famous “PLUMBER” brush is the only product that can give you long, lush lashes.
The Telescopic Mascara looks great, and it does indeed work as advertised. It does a good job of getting your lashes to stand out from the background and it sharpens the eye area without looking harsh or clumpy. The only thing I have some issues with is that it isn’t accessible to those who have very long lashes like mine. If you don’t have very long eyelashes, this mascara may not be for you.
The Telescopic Mascara gets a lot of attention for its name, which is interesting considering how long it takes to write its name on a piece of paper…
The L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara is available in 3 colorways: Black, Brown and Taupe
L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara Packaging and Design
L’Oreal is a French cosmetics manufacturer, founded in 1875 by Henri Filipin and Fernand Frère. L’Oreal is the largest global brand in the beauty category with annual revenues of €1,318 million in 2016. It employs around 8,000 people worldwide and has its headquarters in Paris.
This week, L’Oreal launched two new mascaras — “L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara Packaging Campaign” and “L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara Design for the Packaging Campaign.”
Both of them capture the essence of L’Oreal’s powerful brand, with a focus on their mascaras themselves.
The ‘L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara Packaging Campaign’ focuses on the packaging itself to accentuate its power and unique characteristics while also providing a new way to engage consumers when it comes to their mascara needs. The ‘L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara Design for the Packaging Campaign’ highlights the aesthetics of L’Oréal mascaras through a series of illustrations designed to be helpful for consumers as they are bringing their products home for the first time.
The three-part collaboration campaign was created by Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam in partnership with L’Oréal Paris, which is an integrated part of W+K Amsterdam. The promotional video was shot using digital content from W+K Amsterdam and directed by Willy van den Heuvel from W+K Amsterdam with William Storm from OMD-W+K Amsterdam as co-producers.
L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara Pros and Cons
L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara is a Wednesday morning joke:
A man walks into a bar and asks the bartender, “Do you have beer?”
The bartender replies, “We have beer.”
The man says, “Is that it? I was hoping for something a little more in depth.”
The bartender stammers, “Well, we have beer… but we also have L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara.”
The man is confused and asks for clarification. The bartender looks at him with a blank look on his face and then says, “L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara. The answer is in the name… Clear as day!”
Anybody can walk into a bar and ask for booze, but it takes intelligence to ask for L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara—the perfect mascara for men who want something different from what you’re used to seeing on women’s faces. I’ve seen it described as the ‘Lightning Bolt of Femininity.’ It’s so good that it’ll clear your contacts and smudge your foundation all at once. Which means you will be able to see all those times when you forgot your mascara or just need some quick touch up before going out on the town! Better still—it doesn’t clump or weigh down your lashes like other mascaras do—just add this secret weapon to your beauty arsenal today! But first, let’s talk about the Pros:
* You get the best performance from L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara; unlike all other mascaras whose performance diminishes after 3-5 days of wear because they build up too much product (which actually ends up weighing down your lashes).
* These mascaras are easy to apply (no fussing with a brush), which means easier styling/cleaning later on; No flaking or smudging; no clumping; no sticky messes later on; No need to remember any special step; No damaging effect on lashes (except naturally)… which means fewer breakouts or dry patches later on!
With that said—I’ve tried quite a few of them and while they’re good quality…they don’t live up to their claims of being better than other brands. They don’t last more than three nights without breaking down—and that only because I use my normal brand almost
Conclusion
In the last few years, we have seen a large proliferation of products aimed at professional women. While it is not just mascara that falls into this category, there are many products in the category which are marketed to women specifically.
These products, while they may not be polarizing, are certainly interesting because they can provide a new way to think about cosmetics — and also a new way to market them. They also present a nice challenge for marketers: how can you market a category in which your product is solving an old problem very differently than all the others? There’s nothing wrong with trying to do this (there’s something wrong with being successful at it), but if you’re going to pursue the right approach, then you need some guidance on how best to go about it.
That is what I hope to provide here in this post on “difference between l oreal telescopic mascaras”. This post isn’t all that different from what we usually do as marketers (it doesn’t cover every single product type), but I hope that it will be an interesting read and help you think more clearly about these kinds of challenges.
