Anastasia Lip Dolce is a luxury cosmetics brand founded in 2008 by Italian fashion designer Anna Dicola. Its products come in five palettes: the Classic Palette, the Artistic Palette, the Minimalist Palette, the Romantic Palette and the Style Palette.
2. the best and worst of her life
the anastasia lip dolce story is a bit of a mess. But, it’s also a great one because it is a perfect example of the most important lesson I learned when I started with my first startup: extreme caution.
I’m sure you have heard the story by now. Once upon a time, anastasia was coming home from school and saw her best friend, julie, leaving for work. She realized she was late for school and got into her car to drive to julies house to catch up with her. On the way there, she passed another car on the left side with this guy standing in front of the window:

she reached out to grab onto his hand, as if she were afraid he would do something violent but also as if she were trying not to look like a complete fool who would give away her secrets in public. But what she didn’t realize was that he held something even more precious:
a piece of paper with some numbers scribbled on it
he had just written that number down on his scratch paper so he could quickly call her after work, when everyone else was already gone.
anastasia pulled over and asked him what was going on, but this guy refused to answer because all he wanted to do was get hold of that paper and keep writing numbers until it said “3” or “5.”
the number became part of his life because he kept writing it down so often that it became a kind of mantra – and eventually became his identity. He took such pride in being able to reach out at any time with just those numbers (and then sending them across the world), that he almost never answered any other questions – until one day an older girl who knew about him asked him why he was so obsessed with numbers and why did he keep asking people stuff like this?
that’s when anastasia realized why people are drawn to these numbers: because their lives are wrapped up in them; they are part of their identity; they define who they are – whether they know it or not. So when someone asks them questions about themselves or their life and they don’t have answers for them right away you can bet that person is looking for answers somewhere in those digits… sometimes you have to break yourself open before you can give them back – which is why people keep asking these questions about themselves over and over again… so when someone asks you
3. how she met her prince charming, who swept her off her feet
Anastasia was one of the first designers to get a lot of attention from the fashion world, and her career got off to a pretty good start. She was a front runner in Paris when she was just 18 years old.
In 2008, as more and more people were paying attention, she wanted to make sure she had backup. And so she met her prince charming:
“I met Apolo [Apolo Giannoulis] at a party on New Year’s Eve in 2008,” says Anastasia. “As I was leaving, he said he’d like to escort me back home.”
The next day he proposed, and they got married in Greece in 2010. Now they have two children together: Apolo Jr., who is 30 years old and still dating classmates at Harvard University, and Anastasia Jr., who has just turned 2.
“I know that it’s hard for people to understand how serious this relationship is,” says Anastasia Jr., “but for as long as we’ve been together, we’ve always been very happy.”
When reading this article you’ll notice some similarities with John Legend’s story from last year — both are about women who are swept off their feet by someone else’s love — but there are also very important differences: Anastasia fell for Apolo because he brought out the best in her; John fell for Nelly because she had everything going on that he wanted — which sounds like what I would do if I were trying to write an irresistible love story…
4. they had a perfect wedding, with all the trimmings

I’m not a huge wedding fan, but I think it is a very important one. When you are planning a wedding, you have to think about the details. When you are planning to have a wedding, you have to think about the details. Your guests are your guests, and they deserve the best. But even if they don’t deserve those things, they deserve to be treated with respect and dignity.
Anastasia Lip Dolce did just that when she married her fiancé Jeff in an intimate ceremony at the St. Regis Hotel in Manhattan. The couple had been together for more than two years before finally tying the knot in February of 2017. The event was romantic and perfect; there was no stress, excitement or pressure involved (and according to Anastasia, there were no complications).
The newlyweds didn’t stop at being intimate with each other; they also got all of their guests together for dinner and shared their special day in style. And why not? They had the perfect day planned!
5. they were both so busy that they rarely had time to sit and talk to one another
this was a conversation the two of them started having before the release of their first album, anastasia.
Anastasia and Dolce don’t really have a set of typical conversations, they seem to just talk at random — in a way that seems to happen on audio recordings, rather than in person. It is common for them to talk about different things depending on what they are doing at the time (listening to music, working on their art projects, etc.).
In this case, Anastasia and Dolce were walking through Soho in New York City when Anastasia spotted these two girls talking about something. They were both just sitting there looking each other up and down, but when Anastasia walked over and introduced herself as Anastasia Lip DOLCE (the name comes from the fact that she has very big lips), she had no idea what they were talking about!
The girls told her they were fans of her album and gave her their email addresses so she could send them some downloads. Then the pictures came out:
After a few days of listening to those songs and then hearing her own tracks on NPR shows like Morning Edition , it was clear that Anastasia was not just another talented musician making great music — she was someone people wanted to listen too!
